The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning August 2017. We seek candidates capable of teaching and conducting research in one of our three core curricular areas of macroeconomics, microeconomics, and quantitative methods. Typical teaching assignment is 3 courses per semester including 2 courses from the core and one upper level elective. A Ph.D. in Economics is preferred but ABDs near completion may be considered. The Department of Economics consists of 12 members covering a broad range of fields and interests. We are committed to excellence in both teaching in a diverse liberal arts environment and in scholarship.
