The Department of Economics at the University of Nevada, Reno, invites applications for a nine-month, full-time academic tenure track – Assistant Professor faculty position to start Fall 2017. The successful candidate will conduct research in energy, natural resource economics, and agricultural economics and must demonstrate strong applied econometrics skills and other quantitative skills. Candidates must also demonstrate the potential to be successful in research and publications, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary research team. Ability to teach a graduate microeconomics theory course is also desired.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics, Agricultural Economics or Applied Economics by July 1, 2017.
