Ursinus College, a highly selective, non-denominational national liberal arts college of 1,600 residential students located outside Philadelphia, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in business and economics with background in Macroeconomics, Monetary Theory and International Finance. Scholarly activity that connects research to debt, demographics and distribution of income is a plus. Main teaching responsibilities include core courses such as introductory economics, intermediate macroeconomics, upper division electives within the field, and an interdisciplinary first-year seminar. Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential. The teaching load is 3/2 (five courses per year). Candidates should have a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education, enthusiasm for undergraduate research, and support the College's commitment to fostering an interdisciplinary experience. PhD required by September 1, 2017.
