The Economics Department at Lancaster University invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. You must have expertise and research interests in Financial Economics, and we welcome applicants with a profile in quantitative financial risk modelling. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics or a related discipline by August 2017. You will have a track record or trajectory of internationally excellent publications, and the ability to teach across a variety of programmes (undergraduate and postgraduate) with evidence of teaching excellence.

The Department of Economics is part of the Lancaster University Management School which is a world-ranked international business school. Economics department is one of the largest in the School with over forty faculty members. The Department provides an excellent research environment and has strong links across disciplines within the School and beyond.
