The Department of Business Administration and Economics seeks qualified candidates to apply for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2017. Teaching duties include Principles of Micro- and Macroeconomics and Environmental Economics. In addition, candidates are expected to teach courses in the general studies curriculum including Intellectual Inquiry and Intensive Learning courses (which may be designed by the professor.)

Other duties include a commitment to quality academic advising, college service, program assessment, educational improvement, and to the mission of Roanoke College. Research and professional development are expected and financially supported through travel funds and internal grants. Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics and teaching experience. Applicants without experience teaching Environmental Economics will not be considered. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
