The School of Business and Economics at The Catholic University of America seeks to fill a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in Economics to begin in August 2017.

Fields of expertise include economic development, experimental economics and applied econometrics. PhD in Economics (or completed before August 2017) as well as demonstrated strong actual and potential research and teaching is required. As high quality graduate and undergraduate instruction is expected, teaching experience is highly desirable. Experience carrying out field research in developing countries is highly preferred. The successful candidate’s research and teaching is expected to contribute to our graduate degrees in Integral Economic Development Management and Integral Development Economic Policy, that present an integrated perspective of human development, one that holds “the dignity of the human person, the good of the family, and the good of the community as foundational principles of economic development” (http://integraldevelopment.cua.edu/)
