The Department of Business at Rollins College is accepting applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor of economics beginning in August, 2017. The position involves curriculum development and regularly teaching a one-semester combined introductory micro- and macro-economics course (a core class for three business majors), as well as teaching an interdisciplinary lower-level course on global development challenges and opportunities (a core class for the Social Entrepreneurship major). Responsibilities include advising, program and curriculum development, assurance of learning (AOL), service activities and research. Faculty teaching load will normally be six courses annually. Ability to develop and sustain an active research agenda and output, as well as teach blended and evening courses, is expected
