The Department of Applied Economics at HEC Montreal is seeking applications for several standard tenure track appointments to begin June 2017 in any fields.

For appointment at the Assistant Professor level, the candidate must have a Ph.D. (or indication of imminent completion) in a relevant field, and demonstrate excellence or clear promise of excellence in teaching and in research. For appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level, the candidate must have a Ph.D. and a proven record of outstanding research and excellence in teaching.

Candidates should note that courses are taught mainly in French but also in English and in Spanish. Although fluency in French at the time of application is not required to be considered for the position, successful candidates are expected to be able to teach a course in French at the end of the second year.

The Department of Applied Economics will be attending the ASSA meetings in Chicago and the CEEE in Toronto.
