Faculty Positions in Real Estate and Urban Planning

The Department of Real Estate, School of Design and Environment (SDE), The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for full-time faculty appointments in real estate and urban planning in tenurable and educator tracks. The appointment can be at Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level starting from early 2017.

For tenurable appointments, candidates should possess a doctoral degree (or expect such a degree to be conferred at the time of appointment) and have a commitment to research and teaching excellence. While we seek candidates with outstanding research in broad areas relating to urban and real estate economics and city planning, those with backgrounds in urban design and development, community and economic development, and urban modeling are especially encouraged to apply.

For educator track appointments, candidates should possess a doctoral degree (or expect such a degree to be conferred at the time of appointment). Educator track faculty members would focus on teaching excellence, pedagogical innovation, and other educational activities. They are also encouraged to participate in applied research to contribute to the development of real estate and urban planning practice.
