The Department of Economics at Texas Christian University invites applications for a renewable, non-tenure-track Instructor position beginning August 2017. The position carries a 4/4 teaching load and no formal research expectation but offers two potential promotions in rank (Instructor II and Senior Instructor), the possibility of multi-year contracts, and generous support for professional development including research activity. The successful candidate will regularly offer introductory macroeconomics and at least one of the following: intermediate macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomics, contending perspectives in economics, or econometrics. Of particular interest are candidates able to offer upper-division field courses that complement those of the current faculty. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in economics by August 2017.
