Full Text of JOE Listing:

We are a team of economists and other analytics professionals, focused on econometric modeling within the Chase Treasury group. We answer complex questions, using a variety of analytical techniques and leveraging one of the world’s largest data warehouse implementations. We work closely with our partners throughout the Finance organization, to help them make, execute, and assess critical business decisions.

This position builds models to support regulatory requirements, such as CCAR, and business planning. Key responsibilities include:
• Building econometric models for deposits, fee revenue, or other business drivers
• Identifying data anomalies and cases when more investigation is required during the model-building process
• Communicating results across many audiences, including Finance and Model Governance
• Performing analysis to answer immediate business questions

You should have a PhD in a quantitative field of study with a sound foundation in one or more of the following analytical disciplines:
• Linear and non-linear statistical modeling
• Time series and forecasting
• Panel (longitudinal) data analysis
• Bayesian methods
• Non-parametric methods

You should be comfortable manipulating data and building models using a statistical computing language, such as R, SAS, Python, or Matlab.
