Job Description:
The Department of Resource Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor with a research focus in environmental and natural resource economics to start September 2017. Candidates from all sub-disciplines of environmental and natural resource economics will be considered and are encouraged to apply. Under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks may receive consideration. Teaching responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, Department graduate and undergraduate courses in environmental and natural resource economics.

Requirements:
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in agricultural/resource/applied economics, economics, or a related field as of September 1, 2017.

Additional Information:
The Department of Resource Economics has 14 faculty, 300 undergraduate majors, and about 25 graduate students (one-half are Ph.D. candidates). We place special emphasis on high quality research, on faculty-student interaction, and on cooperation among faculty. We share a fundamental commitment to teach and attract a diverse student body.
