Emory University's Oxford College invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor of Economics in the Division of History and Social Sciences, to begin August 2017. Teaching includes principles and intermediate micro- and/or macroeconomics. Candidates with a willingness to teach in one or more of the following fields are preferred: financial economics, development economics, health economics, public policy, or behavioral economics. The candidate's research agenda should include opportunities to involve select students in that research. Load is three courses per semester with course enrollments normally of thirty-three or fewer students. Candidates must demonstrate a genuine desire to teach in a liberal arts environment that emphasizes close student-faculty interaction. All tenure-track faculty members are expected to serve the college in a variety of roles including serving on committees, acting as academic advisors, and representing Oxford College on the Atlanta campus and to the broader community.
