The Department seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant level in public economics. Candidates must have completed (or expect to complete prior to appointment) a Ph.D. in Economics. Preference will be given to individuals with research interests in social insurance, health, the markets for health care and health insurance, and applications of behavioral economics to the analysis of tax and expenditure policies. The ideal candidates for these positions are individuals who can provide guidance and advice to doctoral students, and who can help us staff Ph.D. and undergraduate classes in public, health, or behavioral economics.
