The Department of Economics and Finance in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University invites applications for one tenure track assistant professor position in any field of microeconomics in which the applicant has a clear focus on conducting policy-related research. This is a nine-month position with a typical teaching load of 4 courses (12 credit hours) per academic year.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in economics or a related field such as public policy. Candidates must have an interest in applied policy research, excellent analytical and quantitative skills, and must support the Huntsman School’s focus on student success. Excellent teaching and student mentoring, and high-impact research are required.
Salary and full benefits package are competitive. The university’s contribution to retirement saving is 14.2% of salary.
