The Department of Economics at the University of Mannheim invites applications for a position as

Professor of Competition and Regulation Economics (W3).

We are seeking a colleague with a strong research agenda and teaching credentials in competition and regulation economics. Participation in the education of doctoral students in our graduate school, the Mannheim Center for Doctoral Studies in Economics, is encouraged.

Candidates must have completed their Ph.D. and should have an established academic record. In case of a first appointment as Professor, the position may first be on a temporary contract, the position is convertible into a permanent position thereafter. Exemptions are possible, especially if the successful candidate is from a foreign country or is currently working outside of academia.
