The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-system position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning on 8/16/2017. Empirical Microeconomics is our high priority area, especially in the subfield of Public Economics. Candidates in other fields may be considered if the record of scholarship is exceptionally strong. For candidates beyond the PhD, a well-established record of sponsored research and/or a record of obtaining grant funding will be preferred. Successful candidates will be expected to seek external funding for their research. Applicants should be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.
