Description:
The Department of Finance at Texas Christian University invites applications and nominations for an Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance in the Neeley School of Business for Fall 2017 or until filled. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in economics and finance. The applicant should be capable of teaching high quality courses in multiple areas of economics and finance. The Neeley School supports and expects high quality research. Successful candidates will demonstrate the potential to publish in leading economics and finance journals.

Requirements:
The position requires a completed Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Economics or Finance or an equivalent discipline. The applicant for this position should be capable of effectively teaching economics and econometrics related courses, as well as finance courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and strong research potential is required. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
