The Division of Health Care Management and Policy within the Department of Public Health Science at the Seoul National University (SNU) Graduate School of Public Health (GSPH), is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at any rank in the field of health economics, with a desired start date of September 1, 2016 (negotiable within a limit of one or two semesters).

The SNU GSPH (established in 1959) is dedicated to train public health professionals who contribute to the nation's and global society’s health and wellbeing through research and practice, and has been a leading research institute in the field of public health in Asia as well as in South Korea.

Applicants for this position must have a doctoral degree in health economics, economics, or a related field. Candidates are expected to develop an independent research program in health economics and to teach at graduate levels. Candidates are also expected to develop scholarly methods for analyzing Korean health economic data and to get involved in collaboration to support policy decision making process for a variety of health policy issues in South Korea.
