The Enterprise Models Team at Fannie Mae has multiple openings at junior and senior levels. We are seeking new and experienced candidates who are passionate about solving real-world economic and business problems.

Responsivities
•Conduct research on model development, implementation, and performance tracking for various subjects including home price forecasting and credit loss forecasting.
•Examine mortgage data, economic data, and model outputs and determine the efficacy of analytical standards or models; Enhance models to meet specific analytical needs.
•Perform ad hoc analysis for business users and provide customer support in the areas of model forecast and analytics.
•Design and build influential presentations and reports, oral and written, for diverse business audiences.
•Review technical requirements and provide prototype code and test results to assist application development team in implementing new/updated models.
Qualifications
•Advanced degree (masters or Ph.D.) in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or other related field.
•Academic training or empirical experience on econometrics or statistics; Experience in financial/banking industry; Mortgage industry experience preferred.
•Strong communication skills with ability to deliver presentations to diverse range of stakeholders.
•Experience using some of the following programming languages: SAS, SQL, Matlab, R.
