The School of Business and Economics at Lynchburg College invites applications for a tenure-track position in economics at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for the 2016-17 academic year. The ideal candidate will be able to teach microeconomics, health or labor economics, and econometrics, and will share in the teaching of the principles sequence. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching and who strives for teaching excellence in support of the institution’s liberal arts mission. Experience teaching online is a plus. Scholarship leading to peer-reviewed publication is expected. Ph.D. in economics required. Selected candidate must complete a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
