Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Economic Analysis and Forecasting Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis seeks to hire a Ph.D. economist with a strong interest in policy analysis focused on regional issues. The Department provides current economic analysis, forecasting, and policy advice to the Bank's president, Board of Directors, and senior management. The successful candidate for this position will have demonstrated experience using microeconomic datasets to provide thoughtful insights into policy issues of regional interest. In addition, the candidate must have excellent communication skills in translating technical material to both economists and noneconomists. While the publication of independent research is encouraged, the primary focus of this position is on applied economic and policy analysis. We will consider both new Ph.D.s and experienced candidates.
