The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York, is seeking applicants for a lecturer position in Economics in the Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance. The appointment will begin in the Fall semester of 2016. The position requires teaching economics courses at the undergraduate/graduate level. There is no research requirement. A Ph.D. in economics or related field or master's with successful industry experience in economics is preferred. We are seeking versatile teachers who will be able to teach variety of courses using various methods, from traditional in-person teaching to hybrid and online, as determined by departmental needs, and will cooperate with colleagues for the good of the institution.
CUNY offers faculty a competitive compensation and benefits package covering health insurance, pension and retirement benefits, paid parental leave, and savings programs. Lecturers are evaluated annually and are eligible for permanent employment after five years.
