Applications are invited for a three-year visiting position in the Economics Department at the University of the Pacific beginning in Fall 2016. The position will entail teaching five courses in each academic year. Courses to be covered include introductory classes (micro and macro, as well as a survey class for non-majors) and some upper division courses based on the candidate’s areas of interest and the needs of the department. Ideally the candidate would be also be able to teach Environmental Economics, with a secondary preference is for International Trade. In the absence of these fields, candidates with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate education are still encouraged to apply.
