JP Research, Inc. is seeking a Ph.D. or MS Economist (or a related discipline) with strong academic qualifications and strong quantitative/statistical skills. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, organized, self-starter with the ability to multitask various projects. In addition, the candidate will need a minimum of three years programming in SAS or STATA and proficiency in Excel. In this role, the Economist will build financial models, statistical models, write expert (legal) reports and help mentor and review the work of co-workers.

The Economist will be encouraged to publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
