The Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research is recruiting two post-doctoral research scientists to work on labor demography. The project focuses on understanding the determinants and differences in the length and productivity of working and retirement lives, across and within populations. The project is conducted in collaboration with two other laboratories at the MPIDR, Lab of Population Health, and Lab of Fertility and Well-being.

Successful candidates will have strong quantitative skills and background in the social sciences. The positions are for 3 years, with possibility for prolongation. Starting salary is 47-66k€ depending on relevant post-doctoral experience. Starting date is flexible, but no later than fall 2016.
