Due to the generous support of the Burwell family, the School of Entrepreneurship in the College of Business and Public Administration invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor with the positions beginning August 16, 2016, pending Provost Office approval. The School was established in May 2014 as one of the first in the nation, with only one other public university and three private universities offering schools dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship. The School serves as the entrepreneurial hub of not only the UND community, but the greater North Dakota area.
The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. (ABD considered) in Economics or a related field, and an active research agenda. Terminal degree expected at time of appointment.

Applicants should have outstanding research potential, with demonstrable knowledge and interest in areas related to Entrepreneurship such as new firms, startups, family businesses, innovation and invention. Experience teaching courses related to entrepreneurship and/or past business/entrepreneurial experience a plus. Knowledge of high-impact learning practices also desirable.
