The institute for economic and social research (IESR) at Jinan University, founded in 2015, is an internationalized institute for research and education in applied economics. IESR also aims to be an organization for production and analysis of longitudinal social survey data. IESR warmly invites applications for faculty positions at all ranks and in all fields of applied economics. Our preferred areas of concentrations are, but not limited to, labor economics, health economics, economics of family, economics of education, econmics of housing and real estate, urban and regional economics, environmental economics, agricultural economics.

Candidates at the rank of associate or full professor must have demonstrated an excellent record in research and teaching. Candidates at the assistant professor level should have a Ph.D. already in hand or firmly expected by August 2016.
