The University of Namur is looking for an economist with a significant research interest in monetary economics and/or macroeconomics. The candidate will teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, mainly in the field of monetary macroeconomics. According to his research interests, the candidate will work preferably in the research center on finance (CEREFIM), but may also be implied in the other research centers of the department (CRED or CERPE).

The applicant shall
- hold a PhD in Economics by September 2016 (or have an equivalent qualification);
- have excellent original research with a potential for publication in high-level journals;
- show his capacity to develop contacts within the international research community;
- be able to teach and to advise students at the bachelor, master and PhD levels;
- have a good command of both spoken and written English and French. If this is not the case for French, the applicant should be ready to learn French so as to be able to teach in French at the end of the integration period.

The following features will be considered as assets:
- a significant scientific record supported by international high-level publications;
- a significant stay abroad.
