The Business Administration & Economics Department seeks a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Associate Professor of Economics to begin on September 1, 2016. The successful candidate will have an ability to teach graduate and undergraduate economics courses and will assist in evaluating and improving the department's program offerings in economics, business mathematics and statistics requirement and sequence, and coursework related to the candidate's research and teaching interests. The successful candidate will also assume key leadership roles in areas such as accreditation, program development, community relations, and departmental administration.

Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship. Additional responsibilities include recruiting, advising, and mentoring students; engaging students in undergraduate research, study away/study abroad, and internship opportunities; participating in committee work; and maintaining a professional scholarship agenda.

Requirements:
Earned doctorate in Economics

Previous successful teaching experience, with a preference for successful experience teaching in multiple formats including face-to-face, hybrid, and online

Demonstrated competence in working in cross-cultural and diverse educational and/or business environments

Prior successful experience in business program or school accreditation, program review, program development, or community relations highly desirable
