The Department has a need for a macroeconomist who can teach at the graduate and the undergraduate levels. The Department is in the College of Liberal Arts and offers the B.A., M.A. and PhD. degrees; visit www.economics.olemiss.edu for information.

A Ph.D. completed by August 2016, and primary research specializations in international macroeconomics, monetary economics, or trade are desired. Candidates with fields related to public policy issues like health or education economics as examples will also be considered. The candidate also will be expected to help advise on PhD committees and develop upper division undergraduate courses related to public policy issues.

Applicants must provide a curriculum vita, one or more working papers, evidence of effective classroom teaching, a graduate transcript, and three letters of recommendation. The letter of application should describe research and teaching interests.
