College of Business invites applications for a faculty position in Economics at associate/full professor rank. We seek a dynamic economist with a strong record of research and teaching excellence in a time of significant University growth. Position may involve night, weekend, and electronic undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Department disciplines are Economics, Management Information Systems and Operations Research. These disciplines offer required courses in the MBA program. All College academic programs are AACSB accredited. Department houses the University’s South Texas Economic Development Center. Department offers Economics undergraduate major; academic minor enrolls students majoring in all five colleges. Both Economics principles courses are required in the college’s undergraduate core and are options in the University’s Core Curriculum Program.
