The Department of Economics at Queens College, CUNY invites applications for a tenure-track position in international finance, international macroeconomics, financial economics and economic history, broadly defined, at the assistant or associate professor level beginning September 2016. We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated ability – through prior experience, coursework, or current research – to teach courses at the BA and MA level. Queens College expects both excellent teaching and published research and provides support in both areas. Candidates should have completed a Ph.D. in economics or finance by August 2016.
Queens College offers a BA degree in economics, a BBA degree in business, and a Masters degree in Risk Management. Our faculty members also participate in the Economics Ph.D program of the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. CUNY offers faculty a competitive compensation and benefits package.
