Economics at Manchester invites applications from strong candidates in any area of specialisation.

You will teach undergraduate and graduate students and carry out research.
You will have a completed PhD, or be close to obtaining a PhD, in Economics/Econometrics or a related field by the post start date.
The post is tenable from 1st August 2016.

Economics is a research-oriented department committed to teaching excellence. The department is large with expertise in a wide range of areas of Economics. These areas of research excellence include all areas of macroeconomics, microeconomics and econometrics, including financial, environmental, and development economics.

The successful applicant will have some pastoral and administrative responsibilities, and above all commit to the ideas of collegiality and academic integrity.
