The Department of Economics of the University of Florida invites applications for a non-tenure-track position at the full-time Lecturer level in the field of macroeconomics and monetary economics with a Fall 2016 start date and a 9-month period appointment.

The candidate should have a commitment to undergraduate teaching and possess excellent teaching credentials. The applicant must have his or her Ph.D. completed by August 2016, and will be expected to undertake undergraduate teaching and advising. Salary is competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a full benefits package. The teaching assignment will be three to four courses per semester. The position is not tenure-track, but the contract is renewable. The University has a career track for lecturers with the possibility of promotion to Senior Lecturer and Master Lecturer.
