The Center for Excellence in Finance and Economic Research (CEFER) www.lb.lt/cefer - a joint cooperation by the Bank of Lithuania and Vilnius University - is currently looking for an enthusiastic and creative economist at the senior level to lead a team of three established researchers. The position is research-centered with minimal policy involvement and optional teaching load.

The Center is based in Vilnius, capital of one of Europe's fastest growing economies - Lithuania, famous for its vibrant culture and easy access to major European cities.

Requirements:
A Ph.D. in economics, finance or related fields
Research in above-mentioned fields with proven publication track record
Proven ability to cooperate and network to sustain joint projects
Flexibility in collaborating across fields
Experience at Central Bank/other international or national institution (preferred)
