Johns Hopkins Carey Business School invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Economics (tenure-track) to start Fall 2016. We welcome applications from candidates motivated by the unique opportunity to participate in building a world-class business school at a premier private university.

Candidates for the position must demonstrate a strong commitment to academic research, with priority to candidates with research interests that are in line with the school’s mission, including: International Trade, Industrial Organization, Applied Theory, and Applied Microeconomics.

Candidates should possess (or expect completion by August 2016) an earned doctorate. Evidence of successful teaching in a business school environment is desired but not required. Ability to teach Macroeconomics at the MBA/MS-level is desirable.
