The Department of Economics at Nazarbayev University invites applications for a full time position in Economics at the rank of Associate or Full Professor beginning August 2016. We seek candidates with strong research interests in any field of Economics. Successful candidates will maintain a vigorous research program and contribute to departmental teaching and service. The teaching load corresponds to that of a research 1 university in the United States. The position requires a Ph.D. in Economics and an outstanding ongoing research record.

We will conduct interviews at the AEA meeting in San Francisco on January 3-5, 2016. For full consideration our deadline is December 4, 2015.
