The Department of Economics at Nazarbayev University invites applications for a full time position in Economics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2016. We seek candidates with strong research interests in any field of Economics. Successful candidates will maintain a vigorous research program and contribute to departmental teaching and service. The teaching load corresponds to that of a research 1 university in the United States. The position requires a Ph.D. in Economics (or expected by August 2016).

We will conduct interviews at the AEA meeting in San Francisco on January 3-5, 2016. For full consideration our deadline is December 4, 2015.
