The Asian Growth Research Institute (AGI, formerly called the International Centre for the Study of East Asian Development or ICSEAD), in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka, Japan, is seeking candidates for a Research Assistant/Associate Professor position to start in Fall 2016 or earlier. The position is tenure track and pays a competitive salary. The initial contract will be for five years, and a tenure decision will be made by the end of the fifth year.

We are interested in researchers who hold a Ph.D degree in Economics or related areas or who will receive such a degree by June 2016 and who have an interest in Asia. Candidates must show a strong record of research productivity and publications in international refereed academic journals.
