The International School of Economics (ISE), established jointly by the London School of Economics (LSE) and the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) in Almaty, Kazakhstan, invites applications from strong candidates in the fields of Economics (any area) and Mathematical Economics.

Candidates for the position of Assistant Professor must have expertise and research interests in Economics or Mathematical Economics, and demonstrate the ability to produce excellent research. You must also have a commitment to the development of academic life in Kazakhstan and the wider international community. You will have a completed PhD, or be close to obtaining a PhD, in a relevant field by the post start date (by 1 August 2016).

All Assistant Professors appointments are tenure track appointments.

Candidates for the position of Associate Professor must have expertise and research interests in Economics or Mathematical Economics, along with an excellent publication record and a clear research agenda.
