The Mannheim Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), Germany, is one of the leading economic research institutes in Europe. ZEW is a non-profit organization working in the fields of frontier empirical economic research and high-level economic policy advice. It is integrated into an extensive international network of universities and research institutes.

Who should apply?

A postdoc is eligible to apply if they have
• a PhD degree in Economics/Business Administration or in a related subject
• very good knowledge of empirical methods (statistics, econometrics, and/or CGE modeling)
• a strong interest in applied economic research
• good team work skills, as well as the ability to work well on their own
• basic command of German (helpful but not essential)
