The University of Minnesota, Morris welcomes applications from qualified candidates in the keyword fields above, for an assistant professorship in Economics beginning August 15, 2016. UMM is a residential public liberal arts college serving over 1900 students, and located 160 miles west of Minneapolis in a rural setting. We are particularly interested in candidates pursuing policy-relevant research agendas that are comprehensible and compelling to undergraduate students and to colleagues in a small, engaged, and productive department. Preferred: interest in and ability to contribute to an interdisciplinary Management major that focuses on areas of overlap with social and behavioral science (Economics and Psychology). The successful candidate will teach undergraduate Econometrics, Principles, and appropriate electives. Annual teaching load is 5 courses. Success in teaching and research are required for promotion and tenure. Salary competitive with mid-tier liberal arts colleges; research support and fringe benefits are strongly competitive.
