The Department of Economics at Baylor University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Applied Econometrics, familiar with data analytics and the tools of analysis for very large data sets. The candidate may have experience with application of these methods to any field of micro- or macroeconomics. A Ph.D. in economics is required, but ABD candidates with a firm completion date by August 2016 will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the tools of analysis required for this position and strong potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly research. For full consideration, your application file should be complete by December 1. We will conduct interviews during the ASSA meetings in San Francisco from January 3-5, 2016.
