The Department of Economics has openings for one or more Assistant Professorships, starting September 2016. Applicants should have a PhD degree in Economics before taking up the position. Successful candidates are appointed to three-year contracts, renewable once. After six years, assistant professors are evaluated for tenure. Field of specialization is open, though with a special interest on econometrics and development.

The Department of Economics offers an exciting research environment, competitive terms and conditions, and generous research support. Knowledge of German is NOT a requirement.
