Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is located in a historical but affordable City of Chengdu, China. It is among one of the best universities, and the largest university specializing in finance, economics, accounting, econometric and statistics in China directly under the State Ministry of Education, with more than 20,000 full-time student enrollments, and with more than 1,200 full-time teachers, of which around 200 getting their Ph.Ds from overseas universities. SWUFE offers various undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs covering, but not limited to, finance, accounting, economics,econometric and statistics. With rapid development in past few decades, SWUFE is becoming an important research oriented university in China with a commitment to deliver high quality education to its students. In recent years, the School of Statistics at SWUFE expanded its international focus and has attracted more than 10 young Ph.Ds to join, from Tilburg University, Imperial College London, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, Iowa State University, National University of Singapore and other overseas universities well-known. We now invite applicants with research interests in any field of economics, econometrics, statistics and other related directions, for couples of faculty positions.

Applicants must have a PhD degree by August 2016. The successful candidate should demonstrate interest and ability to conduct high-level research.
