The Environmental Economics Group at Toulouse School of Economics is seeking two postdoctoral fellows in economics for a duration of one to three years. This Group gathers about 30 researchers working on environmental economics within Toulouse School of Economics. The fellowships are related to a research chair held by James Hammitt at Toulouse School of Economics which is allied with the Harvard Center for Risk Analysis.

The Group is seeking fellows with interests in enhancing and applying methods for evaluating the social effects of decisions that affect the environment. The research areas include cost-benefit analysis, program evaluation, decision theory, social choice, and behavioral economics as well as more applied fields like water, health, climate, or energy economics. The work may be theoretical or empirical.

The fellowship includes a base salary between 32,000 and 38,000 euros per year, health insurance, and up to 3000 euros reimbursement for travel expenses. There is a possibility to apply to Agreenskills program favoring international mobility which may provide significant additional salary. There is no teaching load, but teaching in an environmental economics master can also provide additional salary.
The position may start anytime in 2016.
