Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Rochester announces a Postdoctoral Associate position to work with Dr. Elaine L. Hill. The successful candidate will participate in a recently funded project by NIH to broadly understand the trade-offs, such as increased economic activity versus environmental degradation or harm to public health with respect to energy production.

Applications from a wide-range of disciplinary backgrounds, with a focus on health or environment, will be considered, including economics, statistics, epidemiology, health services, and related fields. The appointee will receive financial support for research and travel to conferences, where applicable. Candidates must hold a doctoral level degree by July 1, 2016 or the negotiated start date (start date is flexible). There is the possibility of an immediate start date for the qualified candidate.

The position is expected to be for the duration of 2 years, initially available for one year with the possibility of renewal based upon performance and a mutual desire to continue the appointment.
