Preferred qualifications include a terminal degree, teaching and research background, significant administrative experience at a large public university, fundraising experience, a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness, appreciation for faculty governance, demonstrated strategic thinking skill with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to lead as a role model of integrity while working successfully with business communities. Those with significant success in senior leadership positions in private non-profits, governmental sectors, or the corporate world are encouraged to apply.
