The LSE Department of Social Policy is the longest established in the UK and has received the highest possible rating in all Research Assessment Exercises carried out in the UK. The Department is looking to recruit an outstanding candidate in Behavioural Science at the level of Assistant Professor.

In this role, you will develop a coherent research strategy in behavioural science and produce outstanding quality publications in leading peer-reviewed outlets. The primary teaching duties are related to the Department’s Executive MSc in Behavioural Science.

To be considered for this role, you will have a completed PhD in a relevant discipline (such as economics or psychology) by the time of the post start. You will have a viable strategy for top-quality research and clear potential for leading publications. Teaching experience at postgraduate level is essential as are excellent communication skills.

Salary is competitive with our peer institutions worldwide and not less than £51,908 pa inclusive.

The post will commence on 1st September 2016.
